SAD!! Unilag students protest and halt academic activities over electrocuted 300L student

 

 A 300L Accounting student of University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, identified as Oluchi Anekwe, was electrocuted yesterday on the way to her hostel.
Oluchi, who hails from Aku in Enugu state, was reportedly electrocuted when a high tension wire fell on her in front of the Sodeinde hall of residence on the campus.
She was rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The students of the university have blocked the main gate of the university to express their grievances over what they believe was an  'avoidable' incident .The student union has also  shut down the university for the day and halted all academic activities in her honour..
