Kris Jenner admits she can't call ex-husband Caitlyn

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star admitted to Access Hollywood that she finds it hard to refer to her ex-husband, who was known as Bruce Jenner before her gender transition, by the new name she chose for herself. She said she would instead address her by her surname.

 Asked if she is able to address her former spouse as Caitlyn, she said: 'No. I say ''Jenner''.

'It's hard, you know, it's really, really hard. What I have realised in all of this is that everyone handles stuff a different way. No matter what it is, you know. We're all people. We all have different emotions,' Kris said.

The Nigerian Pop Legend is 40 today and his eldest son, Nino, shared some moments with on Instagram as he gave him a very sweet shoutout.  He wrote "#2facestarmoment #fortyfied happy Birthday Daddy"

Gov Nasir El Rufai shuts down churches, seminary, church-owned hospital and school

Governor Nasir El Rufai of Kaduna State has orderd the immediate closure of two churches, a seminary and a church-owned hospitals and secondary school all in Saminaka, Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State. 

He said the closure was to avoid the eruption of violence among factions of the congregations whose leaderships’ positions he described as, “principally to preserve their personal interests with little concern for the common good, and the peace and security of Kaduna State”.

A statement on behalf of the governor signed by his spokesman, Samuel Aruwan Wednesday in Kaduna named the affected bodies as: Theological Seminary of Northern Nigeria, (TSNN), Shalom Comprehensive College, Assemblies of God Church, AGC, Nmbare all in Saminaka. The rest are: Assemblies of God Church (Jerusalem) and AGC Evangelist Hospital, also in Saminaka:

Plateau gun attacks may have claimed 19 lives

No fewer than 19 persons were feared dead early yesterday morning at Kadunung village in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, following gunmen’s attacks on the community where houses were also razed and shops looted.

But spokesman of Operation Safe Haven, Op SH, Capt. Ikedichi Iweha, who confirmed the incident, said no one died in the attack which had rendered many homeless.

According to reports, there is no identified number of the gunmen as they were said by the residents to have come in their scores, killing and injuring people and setting houses ablaze.

Man bites off police man's ear, pleads guilty

A 27-year-old man, Ibrahim Ayelangbe, has been remanded in prison custody by an Ikeja Chief Magistrate’s Court in Lagos, after pleading guilty to biting off a police officer’s ear.

The police officer, Cpl. Ebere Nwogidi, was said to have been assaulted by the accused who allegedly tried to escape when he was caught trying to gain entrance into No. 21, Temple Road, Ikoyi area of Lagos.

The Magistrate, Mrs Oluwadamilola Olanipekun, ordered the remand of the accused following his guilty plea when the charge was read to him.
