Woman arrested for attempting to use twins for fraud
Police operatives attached to Pen Cinema police station in Agege, Lagos, on Sunday arrested a woman for trying to use twins belonging to Mrs. Ruth Uche for fraud.
The woman was nabbed at College Road Estate, after she took the four- month old babies to a retired police commissioner’s house, claiming they were his grandchildren.
According to the Nation, the suspect, a mother of two, identified as Victoria, was introduced to the Uches by one of their neighbours.
She was said to have deceived the children’s parents that she wanted them to appear in a film.
Although Ruth’s husband, Emeka Uche, was said to have declined initially, he eventually consented to her request on the condition that his wife must go along with the children.

New report claims that Caitlyn Jenner will not be prosecuted for manslaughter
A few weeks back Caitlyn Jenner expressed fear of having to go to men's jail if she was convicted of manslaughter from February accident. But I guess this is good news for the transgender as a report from TMZ has stated that the people working on the case have concluded that they will not prosecute. According to the report, his conduct was negligent but not criminal.. Good for him!

Plateau gun attacks may have claimed 19 lives
No fewer than 19 persons were feared dead early yesterday morning at Kadunung village in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, following gunmen’s attacks on the community where houses were also razed and shops looted.
But spokesman of Operation Safe Haven, Op SH, Capt. Ikedichi Iweha, who confirmed the incident, said no one died in the attack which had rendered many homeless.
According to reports, there is no identified number of the gunmen as they were said by the residents to have come in their scores, killing and injuring people and setting houses ablaze.
Man bites off police man's ear, pleads guilty
A 27-year-old man, Ibrahim Ayelangbe, has been remanded in prison custody by an Ikeja Chief Magistrate’s Court in Lagos, after pleading guilty to biting off a police officer’s ear.
The police officer, Cpl. Ebere Nwogidi, was said to have been assaulted by the accused who allegedly tried to escape when he was caught trying to gain entrance into No. 21, Temple Road, Ikoyi area of Lagos.
The Magistrate, Mrs Oluwadamilola Olanipekun, ordered the remand of the accused following his guilty plea when the charge was read to him.

2 Nigerian men arrested in Thailand for cocaine production
Two Nigerians have been arrested for producing Cocaine in Thailand. The two men who were identified as Joseph Uyamadu, 43, and Emanuel Umiano, 33, were arrested on Monday alongside a Peruvian, Ammando William, during a raid at their rented apartment in a rubber plantation in Ban Kai district of Rayong province.
The house was used to hide a large number of chemicals and materials which they used in producing cocaine and other hard drugs.
